PENGARUH MEDIA SOSIAL TERHADAP GAYA KOMUNIKASI ANAK DI DESA SROYO KABUPATEN KARANGANYAR

Abstract


Many children are too active on social media, which influences their communication style and can change their attitudes and behavior. Is there an influence of social media on children's communication styles in Sroyo Village, Karanganyar Regency? This research aims to determine the influence of social media on children's communication styles in Sroyo Village, Karanganyar Regency. The type of hypothesis used is, Ho = there is no influence and Ha = there is an influence. This research used 34 respondents, with the Simple Random Sampling technique. Data collection techniques use questionnaires and observation. The data obtained was tested for normality using Kolmogorov-Smirnov and linearity. The data analysis used is simple linear regression using the F test. The results of the simple linear regression test show that there is an influence of social media on children's communication styles in Sroyo Village, Karanganyar Regency with the results of a significance value (Sig) = 0.000 < 0.05 stating that the H0 criterion is rejected if F calculate > F table with ɑ = 0.05 (5%) with a value of 24.353 > 4.14. It was concluded that there was an influence of social media on children's communication styles in Sroyo Village, Karanganyar Regency with a value (Sig) = 0.000 < 0.05 if the F test value was 24.353 > 4.14.
